Bushwalk - Mt Greville

Yesterday we did a bushwalk that neither of us had done before, and just an hour and 15 minutes from Brisbane! Mt Greville is in the Moogerah Peaks National Park West of Brisbane and is a 3-4 hour walk.

We went up through the beautiful and shady Palm Gorge and came down the South East Ridge. It turned out to be one of my favourite day walks near Brisbane. We only had a phone camera and a compact camera with us but I'll be taking the SLR next time.

No visit to the Main Range is complete without a visit to Aratula's Bakery and antique store on the way back to Brisbane.

  1. What amazing country side...so different from anything we would ever see over here. That Bakery antique store looks so much fun too...I'd love to have a root around in there.

  2. it is a great walk....but the update is that we both got tics - discovered 2 and 4 days later! No harm done though.
